Very little has been discovered about our Great Grandparents... as you can see from the above family
tree diagram, they had eight children.
We do know that they lived on Hwy 39 between Henderson and Louisburg, and we also know that they were interred there closeby in the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery.Gillie Paschall, twin sister of Willie, married into the Peoples Family. Willie married into the Parrish Family after meeting and falling in love with A. J. Parrish.
Pattie Paschall married George Washington Tucker. Pattie and George had a son named James Monroe Tucker. James Monroe Tucker married Pattie Lou (Abbott) and they had two children, a son named James Washington Tucker and a daughter named Dorothy Reese (pronounced Ree-See) Tucker. James Washington Tucker married Vergie (Paschall) Hicks.
As of this writing, Reese still lives in Henderson, North Carolina and her brother lives just a few miles outside of Henderson at Kerr Dam. Reese initially married into the same family of distant cousins that Vergie did - Paschalls'. Clifton White Paschall and Reese had two sons named James Leonard and Clifton Dennis Paschall.Reese's second marriage, to Mr. Boyd, produced a daughter, Donna, and two sons, Lealand and T.G. (Terry Glenn) Boyd. Her youngest son, T.G. still lives at home in Henderson as well.
(You will meet Reese later on in a special tribute to those who contributed information for these pages),At present I don't have any information on Susan, Priscilla, or Sallie. Mammie unfortunately died at an early age having been hit by a train while walking down the tracks. The story has been related that she was hard of hearing and never heard the train behind her.Now have I totally confused anyone yet?
Hang on, it gets better!!
It should be readily apparent that from this point on
I will not be able to show sections of the Family Tree diagram because they are too large. Those of you who are related, reading this Family History, will be able to see a full version at the next Family Reunion.
Well now, how many of you can figure out whether this is the Louisburg or Henderson Train Station pictured above....
All Aboard....come along with me now and let's go see our Grandparents
